early life
Mark Zuckerberg was born in White Plains, New York on May 14, 1984, the second of 4 children born to dentist Edward Zuckerberg and his wife, psychiatrist Karen Zuckerberg. Mark and his three sisters, Randy, Donna, and Ariel, were raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York, a sleepy, well-off town on the east bank of the river.

Zuckerberg began using and programming computers in Leesse, with the active support of his father. Edward taught 11-year-old Mark Atari Basic, and so hired David Newman, a software developer, to offer private lessons to his son. In 1997, when Mark was 13, he created an electronic network for his family, which he called Zuknet, which allowed computers in his home and his father's dental office to speak through Ping, who arrived in 1998 at AOL. K was a primitive version of Instant Messenger. Like the computer version of Monopoly and the risk version installed within the empire, computer games were also developed.

Elementary computing
For two years, Zuckerberg attended public high school Ardsley and therefore Phillips transferred to Exeter Academy, where he excelled in classical studies and science. He won awards for mathematics, astronomy and physics. By his high school graduation, Zuckerberg could read and write French, Hebrew, Latin, and Hellenic languages.

For his senior project at Exeter, Zuckerberg wrote a music player called Synapse Media Player, which used computing to explore a user's listening habits and recommend other music. He posted it online on AOL and received thousands of positive reviews. Microsoft and AOL both offered to buy $ 1 million for Synapse and hired Mark Zuckerberg as a developer, but they both changed and enrolled at Harvard in September 2002 instead.

Harvard University
Mark Zuckerberg attended Harvard, where he studied psychology and computing. In his sophomore year, he wrote a program he called Course Match, which allowed users to make class selection decisions that supported other students' choices and also helped them form study groups.

He also invented Facemash, a program that revealed who was the most attractive person on campus. Users will have a look at two pictures of persons of the same sex and "hot", and will also compile the software and rank the results. It was a surprise success, but it slowed down the network at Harvard, with photographs of people being employed without their permission, and it was offensive to groups of people, especially women. Zuckerberg ended the project and apologized to the women's groups, saying he thought of it as a computer experiment. Harvard put him on probation.

Invention of facebook
Zuckerberg's roommates at Harvard included Chris Hugh, a literature and history major; Billy Olson, a theater major; And Dustin Moskowitz, who was studying economics. There is no doubt that the interactive interview between them enhanced and worked on Zuckerberg's ideas and projects.

While at Harvard, Mark Zuckerberg founded TheFacebook, building an application for a trusted directory that supports real information about Harvard students. That software finally launched Facebook in February 2004.

Marriage and Family
In the second year of his faculty at Harvard, Zuckerberg met Medico Priscilla Chan. In September 2010, Zuckerberg and Chan resided and were married on May 19, 2012. Today, Chan can be a pediatrician and philanthropist. The couple have two children, Maxima Chan Zuckerberg (born December 1, 2015) and August Chan Zuckerberg (born August 28, 2017).

The Zuckerberg family is of Jewish heritage, although Mark states that he is an atheist. As of 2019, Mark Zuckerberg had personal assets of $ 60 billion. Together, he and his wife collaborated to support the cause of science, education, justice and opportunity.
