early life
Mark Zuckerberg was born in White Plains, New York on May 14, 1984, the second of 4 children born to dentist Edward Zuckerberg and his wife, psychiatrist Karen Zuckerberg. Mark and his three sisters, Randy, Donna, and Ariel, were raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York, a sleepy, well-off town on the east bank of the river.
Zuckerberg began using and programming computers in Leesse, with the active support of his father. Edward taught 11-year-old Mark Atari Basic, and so hired David Newman, a software developer, to offer private lessons to his son. In 1997, when Mark was 13, he created an electronic network for his family, which he called Zuknet, which allowed computers in his home and his father's dental office to speak through Ping, who arrived in 1998 at AOL. K was a primitive version of Instant Messenger. Like the computer version of Monopoly and the risk version installed within the empire, computer games were also developed.
Elementary computing

Mark Zuckerberg attended Harvard, where he studied psychology and computing. In his sophomore year, he wrote a program he called Course Match, which allowed users to make class selection decisions that supported other students' choices and also helped them form study groups.
He also invented Facemash, a program that revealed who was the most attractive person on campus.
